Winter Season 2024/2025 Brings Exciting Updates for Ski Mountaineering Enthusiasts on the Paganella
The 2024/2025 winter season introduces exciting updates for all ski mountaineering enthusiasts on the Paganella. The new regulations apply to both the Andalo and Fai della Paganella slopes, with specific schedules and routes designed to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
Starting from the Christmas holidays, ski mountaineering will be allowed on the same days scheduled for night skiing. The special dates for the holiday period are: December 23, December 27, December 30, and January 3. After January 7, 2025, the activity will continue every Tuesday and Friday, both on the Andalo and Fai della Paganella slopes.
Details on the Ascent Routes:
- Fai della Paganella Side: Ascent will be allowed on Tuesday and Friday evenings from the closing time of the lifts until 9:00 PM along the La Rocca and Dosso Larici slopes. The starting point is the Santel di Fai parking lot, with arrival at Rifugio Dosso Larici.
- Andalo Side: The activity will be allowed from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM along the Cacciatori 1 slope, with a subsequent deviation onto the Olimpionica 1 slope, reaching Rifugio Dosson.
Safety Rules for Ski Mountaineers
To ensure everyone’s safety, ski mountaineers must adhere to some fundamental rules:
- The use of a headlamp is mandatory for night ascents.
- Transfers or passages on other trails outside the designated routes are not allowed.
- During the day, the dedicated trail for ski mountaineers is the Tre-Tre slope, also shared with snowshoers.
